The Cowboys stuck to the run game in what was a nasty game with the weather the way it was and defeat the Redskins 33-19 at FedExField.

It rained from start to finish in Washington and only got worse as the game went on but that didn't stop Ezekiel Elliott from running for 150 yards on 33 carries while also taking it to the house twice.

One of the bigger anticipations coming into the game was the return of star cornerback Josh Norman who suffered a rib injury in Week 4 and his match-up with the Cowboys best wide receiver Dez Bryant.

The two trash talkers who have their own commercials bad mouthing one another didn't line up across from each other like everyone hoped. Bryant finished the game with four receptions for 39 yards while being covered for the most part by corner Quinton Dunbar.

The Cowboys move to 4-3 and into second place in the division as the Redskins fall into third with a record now of 3-4. Dallas will welcome the Chiefs into town next week and Washington will hit the road to take on the Seahawks.
