The Cowboys stuck to the run game in what was a nasty game with the weather the way it was and defeat the Redskins 33-19 at FedExField . One of the bigger anticipations coming into the game was the return of star cornerback Josh Norman who suffered a rib injury in Week 4 and his match-up with the Cowboys best wide receiver Dez Bryant . The Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins both enter today's game with a record of 3-3 and trailing the first place Philadelphia Eagles by two and a half games. With Ezekiel Elliott still being allowed to play despite being handed a six game suspension twice by the league for his domestic violence case , it'll be interesting to see how the Cowboys feed Zeke on the road. The Redskins are going to have to lean heavily on quarterback Kirk Cousins and the offense as the defense has not got the job done all year, giving up 20 or more points in six of their seven games.
